We use Joomla as a foundation for nearly all of our web development today.  With the vast number of Extensions available, there are thousands, one can easily create a web site today in a matter of a few hours that would have taken months and cost tens of thousands of dollars only a few years ago.These screen shots show Joomla 1.0 - we have recently adopted the use of Joomla 1.5+

The additional template system for managing the look and feel of the website makes not only the initial site creation simpler, but updating it in the future painless and inexpensive.
